Warranty Information

Every console and accessory sold by RetroReplay UK comes with a warranty against hardware defects. Here's everything you need to know.

Standard Warranty

All refurbished consoles come with a 90-day warranty from the date of delivery. This covers hardware defects and faults that develop under normal use.

What's Covered

• Disc drive failure or read errors
• Controller port failure
• Power supply faults
• AV output issues
• Any hardware fault not caused by physical damage or misuse
• Pre-installed mods and upgrades (FreeMCBoot, HDMI adapters, HDD installs)

What's Not Covered

• Physical damage caused after delivery (drops, liquid damage, cracked shells)
• Damage caused by use of incorrect power supplies or accessories
• Cosmetic wear that develops through normal use
• Faults caused by third-party modifications made after purchase
• Consumable items such as batteries

How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Contact us via our contact page with your order number and a description of the fault
2. We may ask for a short video or photos to help diagnose the issue
3. If the fault is covered, we'll arrange collection at our cost and either repair or replace the unit
4. Repaired or replacement units are dispatched within 5 working days of receipt

Extended Warranty

We offer an optional extended warranty of up to 12 months on selected consoles. If available for your purchase, this will be shown on the product listing. Extended warranty terms mirror the standard warranty above.

Your Statutory Rights

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund. Between 30 days and 6 months, we have the right to attempt a repair or replacement before a refund is issued. Nothing in this warranty limits those rights.
