It provides a graphical interface for managing PS2 game libraries stored on a USB drive or internal HDD, downloading cover artwork, configuring per-game compatibility settings, and organising game metadata.

Key Features

  • Manage PS2 game libraries for OPL from a PC
  • Automatic cover art, disc art and background image downloading
  • Per-game compatibility configuration (GSM, compatibility modes)
  • Rename, organise and remove games from the library
  • Supports USB and HDD-based OPL game sources
  • Cheat code management and import
  • Multi-language support

Compatibility

OPL Manager runs on Windows and is compatible with USB drives and internal HDDs formatted for use with OPL. It works in conjunction with Open PS2 Loader and HDL Batch Installer as part of a complete PS2 HDD setup workflow.

Typical Workflow

  1. Install games to HDD using HDL Batch Installer or directly via OPL Manager
  2. Connect the drive to a PC
  3. Open OPL Manager and point it at the drive
  4. Download artwork and configure per-game settings
  5. Safely eject and install the drive back into the PS2
  6. Launch OPL — artwork and settings will load automatically
