Address: 65 Coronation Road, Stainforth, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN7 5EU, United Kingdom
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
-
identity and contact details, including name, delivery address, billing address, email address and telephone number;
-
order and transaction details, including products purchased, returns, refunds and payment status;
-
communications and customer-support information;
-
device, browser, IP address, cookie and website-usage information;
-
marketing preferences; and
-
information reasonably required for fraud prevention, legal compliance or the defence of legal claims.
Payment-card details are normally collected and processed by Shopify and the chosen payment provider. RetroReplay UK does not ordinarily receive the complete card number or security code.
How and why we use information
We process personal information where necessary:
-
to perform a contract, including taking orders, arranging payment, delivery, returns, warranty support and customer service;
-
to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, consumer-protection and lawful authority requirements;
-
for legitimate interests, including protecting the website, preventing fraud, maintaining business records, improving services and establishing or defending legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by individual rights; and
-
with consent, where required for optional marketing or non-essential cookies. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Who receives information
We share only the information reasonably necessary with providers supporting the store, which may include:
-
Shopify, which hosts the website and commerce platform;
-
payment processors;
-
postal operators and couriers;
-
email, hosting, analytics, security and customer-support providers;
-
professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts or public authorities where necessary; and
-
a purchaser or adviser involved in a genuine proposed sale or restructuring of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not pass customer details to independent marketers for their own unrelated marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies needed for functions such as the basket, checkout, security and preference storage. Optional analytics or advertising cookies should be used only in accordance with the choices presented through the cookie controls. You can update your choices using the site’s cookie-preference control where available. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.
International transfers
Some service providers, including Shopify and associated processors, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, transfers are protected using UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard. Further information about Shopify’s processing is available through Shopify’s privacy information linked from the storefront.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected. Order, payment and accounting records will generally be retained for the period required by UK tax and legal obligations. Customer-service and warranty records may be retained while an issue remains active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Information may be retained longer where necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions and exemptions, you may have the right to:
-
obtain access to your personal information;
-
correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
-
request deletion;
-
restrict or object to certain processing;
-
receive certain information in a portable format;
-
withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and
-
object at any time to direct marketing.
To exercise a right, email info@retroreplay.uk. We may request reasonable information to verify identity. We normally respond within one month.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet service is completely secure, so customers should avoid sending unnecessary payment or identity information by ordinary email.
Children
The store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or provide personal information without appropriate involvement from a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
