HDL Batch Installer
Overview
HDL Batch Installer is an open-source PC application used to install PlayStation 2 game images (ISO files) to an internal PS2 hard disk drive (HDD) in bulk. It is a widely used tool in the PS2 homebrew community for preparing HDD-based game libraries compatible with Open PS2 Loader (OPL).

Compatibility
HDL Batch Installer runs on Windows and is compatible with standard 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives. The resulting HDD is compatible with fat PS2 models featuring the expansion bay and a compatible HDD adapter. The installed game library is read by Open PS2 Loader.
Typical Workflow
- Connect the PS2 HDD to a PC via a USB-to-SATA/IDE adapter
- Open HDL Batch Installer and select the target drive
- Add PS2 ISO files to the queue
- Run the batch install process
- Use OPL Manager to add artwork and metadata
- Install the HDD into the PS2 and launch via OPL or FHDB
